joe_l Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 This is a quick and "dirty" method to achieve a feathered border around an image. This method has its limitations, but it is very fast to get quite nice results. 1) Create a shape and drop it onto the preview icon of the image layer in the Layers panel. 2) The image has now the form of the shape. Now select the shape in the layers panel and add / activate Gaussian Blur from the Layer Effects icon in the Layers panel for this shape. 3) Use a radius of your choice. Voila! You can tweak the feather effect by adding a stroke for the shape. Vary the width here or use dashed lines (even with arrowheads). Have fun with your experiments! loukash, Alfred, capellan2000 and 1 other 4 Quote ---------- Windows 10 / 11, Complete Suite Retail and Beta
