Help and advice needed

Recommended Posts

Which (entry-level) tablet would suit my needs?

I have designed, drawn, and painted. since I was seven. I am now eighty.
I am using a 27" iMac. I am self-taught in the use of the Mac.
I am Using  all of the Affinity software products
I have spent the last three years using a mouse to do my illustrations and prefer to work in vector rather than Pixel.
I am just now wanting to move over to a tablet, but it's very confusing.
Looking forward to any useful advice to help me make a decision.
There is so much hype out there and the videos are less than helpful.
Attached is a sample of my work with a mouse, which may or may not be helpful. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @504Krayons, and thanks for sharing your superb drawing (just the right subject as an example of something drawn with a mouse). I’d love to see a larger version of it. :)

Your parenthetical reference to ‘entry-level’ suggests that you don’t want to spend too much. Have you decided on your budget? Do you know whether you want a tablet with a built-in display (so you can see what you draw on the tablet itself) rather than the less expensive option of relying on your computer screen to show you what you’re drawing?

Here’s a link to one of several threads returned by a search for tablet recommendations:
