Capt. Krayon
Which (entry-level) tablet would suit my needs? I have designed, drawn, and painted. since I was seven. I am now eighty. I am using a 27" iMac. I am self-taught in the use of the Mac. I am Using all of the Affinity software products I have spent the last three years using a mouse to do my illustrations and prefer to work in vector rather than Pixel. I am just now wanting to move over to a tablet, but it's very confusing. Looking forward to any useful advice to help me make a decision. There is so much hype out there and the videos are less than helpful. Attached is a sample of my work with a mouse, which may or may not be helpful. Thank you in advance for any advice. JH . Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @504Krayons, and thanks for sharing your superb drawing (just the right subject as an example of something drawn with a mouse). I’d love to see a larger version of it. Your parenthetical reference to ‘entry-level’ suggests that you don’t want to spend too much. Have you decided on your budget? Do you know whether you want a tablet with a built-in display (so you can see what you draw on the tablet itself) rather than the less expensive option of relying on your computer screen to show you what you’re drawing?
