KeithStoddart
I am trying to replace fonts opening an AI doc in designer 2 and I can't see a general 'replace font' utility anywhere! Is there a way of doing this? I don't want to resort to Illustrator for this!
Bryan Rieger
Unfortunately Designer doesn’t have a replace fonts ‘feature’ (baffling, I know), but Publisher does. Seeing as they both use the same file format (just different file extensions), you can workaround this by opening the file in Publisher to fix/replace the fonts, save, and then you should be good to go opening the file in Designer. OK thanks Bryan. I can't find where to fix it yet. Preferaby I want to open the file, get the software to find the missing fonts, replace them and go!! Is that possible? Bryan Rieger
Yup. It's available (only) in Affinity Publisher via the Window -> Font Manager… menu item.
carl123
Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
