EDIT: Never mind... Feature suggestion: better way to adjust clone brush rotation and scale

Recommended Posts

The problem is that putting in the degrees of rotation in the context menu and then having to hit Enter before seeing what you're doing requires considerable trial and error.

Hopefully I didn't miss a way around this, but it would be great if there were a way to adjust the angle and scale from the keyboard or mouse while you're previewing with the Clone Brush without having to leave the entry box.

I use the K tool all the time, for example to extend borders around objects... well, it's hard to explain, but I think the idea is clear.

Thanks.

EDIT: Example: let's say I want to extend the thin red line around this green thing (never mind that I'm going to change the color, because red and green isn't ideal). Pretend that this particular example wouldn't be easier with the brush - usually the border is more complicated.

The up/down/left/right arrow keys on the keyboard should adjust rotation and scale of the Clone Brush tool.

I tried everything except the arrows.

... just a suggestion to improve the availability of information about the control method. For the selected tool, the Status bar shows a list of ways to control it (including modification keys). In the case of Clone Brush, the given list is quite short, so a description of additional keys for controlling important parameters, such as Rotation and Scale, would also fit here.
