How do people deal with RAW on Windows?

Recommended Posts

I’m trying to use RAW images from my camera on windows, but it can’t seem to display them converting to JPEG’s instead.

Affinity Photo can load them fine if they are already saved on disc, but Windows can't see them?

Is there a solution to this?

What RAW format exactly?

I simply no longer believe that there are any professional graphic designers here. Everything follows suit. Just everything.

There are several apps (depending on cam RAW formats) which will assist in showing thumb previews in Windows too.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

This can display raw previews, plus do much more. And it's free for personal use.
