Lizzy2016
Hi I haven't used affinity photo v1 for well over a year. I tried to import an image today from my photos on my mac mini with a M1 processor. As soon as i change basic settings like to black and white and move a few colour sliders affinity photo crashes. I tried it 3 times but have to restart the computer each time. I then downloaded the latest version and it still crashes. Any suggestions please.
v_kyr
Here's a step wise list of suggestions from 1-5 to try out (in that order): Make sure you've installed the latest APh v.1.10.8 Check under the app preferences the performance options hardware acceleration setting, if it's set to "Metal" try to set it to "OpenGL" instead and restart APh. If it still crashes, reset the app to it's defaults, see also related "What exactly do the Clear User Data options clear? FAQ" Check the list of V1 FAQs, the Mac OS and General ones If it still crashes, see in the "FAQ Where to find Crash Reports" for Mac OS and post your crash reports here. ---------------------------- Further in the above mentioned V1 app FAQs take a closer look through ...
