Fabricius Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 How do I close these empty windows? The red button is inactive, the yellow and green buttons work normally. In the window menu, the merge all windows option is grayed out. Mac Monterey 12.7.2 Rebooting the mac does nothing Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 You probably are experiencing this known problem: There is a macOS System Setting that will Close All Windows when you quit an application. Turning that on should let you quit Photo, and reopen it again without those windows. It will affect all applications, so if you don't want that behavior in general, you can turn the macOS setting off again, and just don't Float any document windows in Photo until the bug is resolved.
