Different brushes from tutorial

Just started with first tutorial and my Affinity does not have the same brushes as the one on the tutorial--why not?

Affinity Designers for Beginners--is this enough info?

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

There's two types of Brushes in Affinity Designer: vector brushes which you can find while in Draw Persona (first icon right below the traffic lights on top left) in the Brushes tab on the right. And Pixel based brushes (the ones you are seeing in the video) which are only available in Pixel Persona (second icon right below the traffic lights) in the Brushes tab on the right.
