[Publisher 2.2.1] Moving an image into a box

Hello everyone,

When I move an image into a box from the layers panel, I find that the image size is always adjusted to fit the box size, even though the box scaling properties are set to "None".

I find this inconsistent and problematic.

Is there a way to prevent this. I am using Affinity Publisher 2.2.1 on macOS 13.6.2.

Hi @LEB,

When you reference 'box', are you referring to a Picture frame layer? If so I'm not able to replicate this on Mac or Windows. See my attached recording, which shows a frame scaling set to 'Max Fit' on the left and 'None' on the right with the 'None' property being honoured after placing the image in the frame.

If you are able to replicate this issue with the properties correctly set to 'None' on the frame, could you provide a copy of the sample file used along with a screen recording?
