  1. Designer 2.2.1
  2. I open a file containing text, vector elements and raster elements with 32bit transparency. I choose FILE > SAVE AS. The mouse wheel spins a few times, then the program closes without any error window.
  3. It does not happen to a new document. The document it does happen to was being edited a week ago without problems.
  4. Description:

Pen and touch    No pen or touch input is available for this display

    Edition    Windows 11 Home
    Version    22H2
    Installed on    ‎24/‎02/‎2023
    OS build    22621.2715

  •    Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ?

Have tried it both ways. Get the same result with and without hardware acceleration.

  •    What happened for you (and what you expected to happen)

I choose FILE > SAVE AS. The mouse wheel spins a few times, then the program closes without any error window. I expect a file dialogue allowing me to set file name and save location.

  •    Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware)

There was a Windows Update this morning

5. Attempted remedy: Tried switching to non-hardware accelerate - no joy. Tried increasing the amount of Ram Available - no joy.

UPDATE:
- 'Save As Package' seems to work ok. Just 'Save As' causes the crash.

Hi @CreativeCortex,

I've tried replicating this and haven't been able to on my Windows 11 laptop.

Could you attach your crash report, to find the report see here and if you could upload the afdesign file you are working on to our Dropbox here, I'll try to replicate it with your file :)
