Why is All Affinity Software slow to load?

Recommended Posts

Unlikely that anyone will be able to tell you without knowing what kind of computer and operating system you are using.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

Usually it takes two seconds (literally) to launch on my Mac Studio M1, but once in a while it spins its wheels for maybe 25 seconds.

I think it's clearing caches, and I'm even more convinced that's what it's trying to do when it hangs on quit.

The answer above could be completed by this one (non authorized but now well confirmed by experience):

Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To

I apologise for any approximations in my English. It is not my mother tongue.
