Duratorque Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 I am using v2.2.1 and suddenly when I create a adjustment layer, a mask is also created. It just started doing that and I don't know why. Did I change some setting without me knowing. I do I stop it doing that? I has a look at the layer menu and can't see anything obvious. I have tried restarting and rebooting but it is still doing the same thing. Quote

Duratorque Posted November 5, 2023 Author Posted November 5, 2023 I am using Affinity Photo. I create the layer by click on the adjustment like Curve. But the adjustment layer does not have any effect as it has a mask included. Quote

There are 3 places you could create an Adjustment: Layer menu, Adjustment panel, Layers panel. Also, which OS do you use? Duratorque Posted November 5, 2023 Author Posted November 5, 2023 I am using Windows 11. The result is the same, I have tried all 3 places. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Thanks. At this point, I have no idea what might be going on. Sorry. Good thought, Bruce. And if it's a very small pixel selection, the mask's thumbnail would appear essentially black. Duratorque Posted November 5, 2023 Author Posted November 5, 2023 Thank you, that is it. I must have created pixel selection without knowing it. All resolved now. Thank you all. walt.farrell and Old Bruce 2 Quote
