Affinity Photo *.exe file

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon.  I have two programs (FastStone Capture and Irfanview) where I want to add Affinity Photo as the external editor. Sadly I cannot find the *.exe file to action this in program files.  Can somebody please point me to where I can find it please? Win11. Cheers John

You may want to uninstall your current Photo 2 (and any other V2 Affinity applications) which are apparently using the MSIX technology, and download and reinstall using the EXE-based installers instead. Or, you could download and install the aflaunch utility, and point Faststone and Irfanview to aflaunch instead (which might be simpler, and arguably more secure, and easier when updating to new releases).
