Purchase copy, missing on Microsoft store

I purchased the original affinity photo etc. A long time ago, it is still installed in my machine. However when I go to my downloads on the Microsoft store it is nowhere to be found, under my purchases. This means if I restart my system I will be forced to purchase the software for a 2nd time. I was considering the upgrade but it's not cool to force me. Is there a way to get access to my original Purchase.

First, no, simply restarting your system would not remove any of the software that is installed. You would need to reinstall Windows or explicitly uninstall the software or switch to a new system.

But in any case, fear not. The software is still in your Microsoft Store account, if that's where you purchased the software, and you can reinstall it from there. Please see this FAQ:
