I can't see all the fields on my list, and can't scroll to see them.

I'm using fields to build calendars and need them to show all items on the linked CSV to complete the task. Right now I can't see beyond the 28th line and it meant my task can't be completed.

In the images below you can see the list in fields ends at 28 and the data merge panel shows I have 44 fields

Hi @DayDot,

For me, with an extended data set it appears as a scrollable list so I can see the entire data set regardless of whether the data is a .csv or .xlsx source file and regardless of whether the Fileds panel is docked or undocked...

Which version of macOS are you using?

Are you able to upload your .csv file so we can take a quick look...

HI @Hangman

I'm using Sonoma 14.0

But I don't have the scroll bar you have. It's just not there.

I always had the full scroll option in Affinity V1 - only updated to V2 recently as my Mac updated and V1 stopped working with the Data merge at all.

If I open all the Fields tabs as you have above, I can't even see the list of Fields on my CSV anymore.

Hi @DayDot,

Even though it shouldn't be necessary if you switch Show scroll bars to Always (assuming that's not already the setting you have) in the General Preferences for your Mac does this add a scrollbar to the Fields panel?

Hi @DayDot,

This sounds like a possible Sonoma bug to me... hopefully, someone in the moderation team at Serif can test using Sonoma to confirm whether they see the same issue...

None of which is any comfort for your work which I can see is going to cause issues... It may be worth doing a quick factory reset of Publisher just in case to see if it rectifies the issue by holding the Ctrl Key while launching Publisher leaving the first three options checked in the Clear User Data window then clicking Clear.

Note: This will reset any custom UI settings you may have made to Publisher so you will likely need to reconfigure those if relevant.

I've attached a couple of test files for anyone else who wants to test...

Data.xlsx Data Extended.xlsx Data Futher Extended.xlsx

Data.csv Data Extended.csv Data Futher Extended.csv

Hi @Hangman

I just removed publisher and reinstalled the beta, it was working there. So I did the update to the latest version and now it's working. Strange issue but seemingly unique to my download.

Thanks for the help though, it was very much appreciated
