Affinity Photo Lagging & Slow On Macbook Pro (MacOS Sonoma version 14.0)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Affinity Photo is awfully lagging and slow on my Macbook Pro. It wasn't awfully lagging and slow before. But now since I have updated to MacOS Sonoma version 14.0, it's lagging and slower than usual. What should I do to make it faster and not lag?

Also, I have attached a photo so you can see my performance settings.

you stated your issue in your own question. Sonoma isn't supported yet by many software yet.

If that's true - and actually I don't think it is - then you have to wonder what Apple did to make it so difficult. After all, public betas have been out for months.

Oh ok, so does that mean I have to wait for Affinity Photo to get a new update or something like that?

you can always send them a request for when to expect support for sonoma.

it's always the same thing every time Apple release a new OS, let others test run and deal with not supported issues before you update your OS ¯\_()_/¯

to me, i'm just waiting for sonoma update like 14.1 (out on BETA now ) or sonoma 14.2 to install sonoma if my stuff is to run smooth.

Ok, I will see about sending them a request.
Well, it's too late since I have already updated.
