How to: I want to use affinity designer 2 to trace using vector brush, then export to procreate to color in designs? Is this possible?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to Designer 2. My main reason for using Designer 2 is because of the vector brushes (clean lines, not pixelated).

I want to export from Designer 2 to Procreate? Did not find a video on this, is this possible? I want to export to Procreate to color in logos and spaces. Again I am just using Designer 2 for Vector brushes outline /tracing.

Need help exporting to procreate and be able to finish work there. Procreate is raster based.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, I’m a fast learner.

My first question would be how big is each file?  Dimension-wise, I mean.

Like is the image you are exporting 1024x760 and you are pulling it into a file that is 6000x4000?

You're exporting at 300 DPI, how does that compare to ProCreate's file? (I have it installed, but really haven't spent much time with it.  Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question or three)

And, my last thought is that you are allowing jpg compression... even at 98%, it's still compressing.  Maybe uncheck that and see?  Maybe try a smaller image first?
