Publisher 2.2. update: No indicators of text and object boxes - no corners

Hello all,

since update 2.2 i have big troubles since the indicators of text and object boxes disappear after switching to a different page of the document.
When opening the document indicators of text and object boxes work fine. As soon as i switch to a different page of the document the indicators don`t appear anymore. Yes, zooming does help - but thats no good solution for long work! I see other users in this forum with the same problem. I also tried all possible performance settigngs with no success. And a downgrade to version 2.1 did not help either since i get the message that the file can`t be opened. I would be thankful for a problem solving advice - or a quick update that fixes the problem.

Hi @markus74 and welcome to the forums.

A number of us are experiencing this issue on macOS. I experience it many times each day. Serif hasn't found the cause for it yet so we'll just have to wait for it to be resolved.

I don't think this is a big issue that would necessitate downgrading to 2.1.1 - v2.2 is a huge improvement with many more features. I encourage you to give 2.2 another try. It's easy to work around this bug, just zoom a bit, change pages, change tools, Alt+Tab to another app and back, there are lots of ways to resolve it.

The issue "[MacOS] Redraw issue. Bounding box does not display for new selection after using scroll bar until you force Redraw" (REF: AF-295) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2139".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
