UI Sizing for Apps

I downloaded a trial tonight, and was hoping like other software's of this type - there would be the ability to scale the UI (buttons and text) for users with issues with sight. I can't see anything that resembles this. Hopefully this can be considered, or if I've missed it - please point me to the right direction.

Unfortunately at this point we don't have any UI scaling options like this. This is something that has been requested in the past and may be considered for a future update.

Hello @btmgreg, welcome to the forums.

For background as a new user you should know that people have been begging for a more readable UI since the Affinity apps were first released more than 8 years ago. What you see now seems to be baked into the system. Sadly for so many of us, Affinity 2 made the UI even less usable, as described in numerous threads in these forums beginning last November.

There you will find links to additional posts with more details, including my own reasons for continuing to use Affinity Photo and Publisher despite the unpleasant, dysfunctional UI. Everything is a tradeoff. With Affinity you get great power at an affordable price along with these extremely helpful forums populated by patient, expert users.

Hi there

I just like to link to this other topic "High DPI settings on windows? Increase tools font size?".
I believe this fits here (Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products) better than anywhere else.

I like to remind that I am having many of the UI text as large a 2mm and this makes me turning away although I was thinking of getting the full suite.

Thank you Callum for the statement. i just fear that "may be considered for a future update" sounds not like you really have considered it. Is ther a developer who tried to get this topic discussed in your release cycles?
