MikeTO
This is minor, nothing bad happens but the Anchor panel's New Anchor button isn't disabled at the same time as the Text > Interactive > Insert Anchor command. Open the History panel Create a text frame and type a character Click outside of the text frame to deselect it - the menu command will be disabled but the panel's button Click the New Anchor button in the panel - the dialog will appear and let you create an anchor - click OK The History panel shows that an anchor was created but it doesn't appear in the Anchors panel - I assume it's not created because if you use the auto numbered name and then repeat the exercise the next time it will default to the same number so although the action was logged in History I don't think the anchor was actually created Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M4 Pro)
