Staff Callum Posted September 6, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 6, 2023 Hi GeirSol Are the linked resources being placed from an external drive such as a cloud drive or USB stick etc? If they are does placing them from a location local to your computer solve the crashing? Please could you also provide a copy of the latest crash report found using the below guide? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

GeirSol
I have also problems with basic save, auto-save and open files. I have no indication that my system is faulty.
GeirSol
Finally managed to clean up the recurses (doubledxx pdfs embedded) and link most pdfs. I suspect the issue is with embedded pdf, some pages on passthrough, some on interpret. But, not sure. Hopefully I'm past the 100 crashes

Staff Callum Posted September 11, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2023 Hi GeirSol, Thank you for providing the crash reports since cleaning up your resources have you continued to have issues at all? If you are still seeing crashing please could you provide a screen recording showing the crashing and a copy of the files in question so I can try replicating it here? You should be able to upload them to the following link. https://www.dropbox.com/request/24MzNpf7yHE3VuzvHkfv Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. I'll make a couple of packages and upload. Note: I see my RAM is almost maxed out.
Staff Callum Posted September 11, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2023 Hi Geir, In the apps preferences under performance is the RAM usage limit set to your total available RAM? It might be worth lowering this slider slightly to see if it solves your issue. It also might be worth trying to disable Open CL in the performance menu to see if this helps at all. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
