It's remembered. But it takes flicking back and forth between items or pages to have it update. Win 11, Pub 2.3

When having 2 projects with similar content open at same time, left pane is not updating correctly when setting the other project active. Pages, search and more.

Yes, I found the technique. Setting TOC 1: Entry to the right properties.

Upgrade my Ram from 16Gb to 32Gb, that reduced crashes with approx. 75%

This is not normal behavior. Normal is allowing save over same file, with prompt. Sorry I can't upload this file.

Ok, but normal behavior is that save as same name is allowed. And it's far more convenient in my case. But, I'll consider your arguments. Why does this give smaller files?

Local The issue happens when saving as same name (that I need to do to get on with crashed file) Save as different name usually is ok.

Thanks! The issue is: Documents that crash before hard close do reopen and documents that are closed before app crash is also reopened.

Yes, the file was opened read-only by Publisher. On Save-as this message appeared.

Hi! When having troublesome files, the option to auto-open last projects can be a PITA. I thought opening a file directly from explorer (win) would override (not open others), but it seems that is not the case. Please make some options for a clean app-opening if needed. Thanks!

Hi! I get quite a few of these when choosing save-as. It's linked to prior save-error and freeze.

It showed up in Acrobate Reader to. I've fixed the 2 issues by removing them in source-file.

I'm checking my files before print. Sending to pro-print, and didn't plan for a prerun. Seems like an export-issue in Publisher, as it's not visible in the source-files.
