Outline FX treating opaque bitmap and partially transparent

Hi there again,

    I'm having a little trouble with something else I'm hoping I can get some help with.  I'm using a bitmap as a fill for a style that I put together.  I can't seem to get the outline from the FX panel to cooperate properly. The outline seems to be treating the bitmap as a semi-transparent background. I've double and triple checked it. It has no transparency or gaps that need to be filled in. Any ideas?

 

Oh, and, ... I plan to make this available, once it's properly finished, (as well as a few other styles and resources that I've created during the process of learning Affinity designer and in general, vector creations,) available for download on the Forum.

Some pixels of the text's bitmap fill definitely do have slight transparency, as can be seen in the video below:
