ScarletQueen Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Hi there: I have an iPad Pro and I am considering buying a Macbook Pro as well. I heard that one can use a Wacom tablet or XP Pen tablet to draw into the desktop or Mac IOS version of Affinity directly, but can I also attach my iPad to my computer to do the same thing? Please let me know. Thanks in advance! Quote
firstdefence Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Yes you can use an iPad Pro as a drawing tablet using sidecar: https://search.brave.com/search?q=imac+what+is+sidecar&source=desktop ScarletQueen 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... AlainP Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 It works very well using Sidecar, but personally, I still prefer running Photo and Designer directly on my 12.9 in iPad. You can hold it any way you like, no table needed.
