ctekk
Win11 / Affinity Designer 2.2 Entering Colors in #hex field in RGB Hex Selector doesn't change color. I have to press enter in either one of the R, G or B fields afterwards, for the color to be applied.
Dan C
Hi @ctekk, Thanks for your report! I can confirm this issue has been identified by our team internally and has been reported to the developers to be resolved ASAP. Just to let you know, the 2.2 build you are using was accidentally pushed to retail yesterday and is technically a beta build, not quite ready for release. We've since resolved the issue that caused this to appear as an update for our users, however you may wish to revert to the previous stable 2.1.1 build, as outlined here - I hope this helps
ctekk
Hi Dan, Thank you for forwarding - the problem that I now have is, that I am working on another PC and can't open the file anymore because it was saved with a "newer" version😅 Is there a workaround that I can open the file in 2.1.1 again? Edit: I just read the post and the workaround but I dont really want to participate in the beta. When do you think 2.2 will be officially released and can I use the file then? Dan C
We're very sorry to hear this - unfortunately this file can only be opened in the 2.2 version of Affinity since being saved after updating, so you would need to download and install the beta alongside your retail version to edit this file: You could then copy and paste the contents into a new 2.1.1 file, or continue to use the beta with your document. ctekk
