Linear Transparency Gradient Turning into a Parallelogram

Recommended Posts

Never know what's a bug or just me pressing the wrong button

Every time I go back to edit transparency gradients it's suddenly for some reason turned into a rectangle - is it because I'm adjusting the rotation of the parent layer that this is happening ?

If it is that then it still shouldn't - besides it still says it's linear in the context toolbar

This causes me to reset the whole gradient and start again - which is luckily what I'm wanting to do anyway

The parallelogram shows that the gradient has been sheared / skewed / rotated from the position in which it was originally created.

This can be helpful if you have several objects that are supposed to have the same gradient (but no longer do).

If you are happy to accept the new distorted gradient, then a double click on any handle of the parallelogram will remove the additional handles.
