decster1 Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 In Photo 2.1 I have selected all my favorite brushes and clicked "Link Category" and when I open Photo 2.2 Beta the categories aren't there! Is this normal because of Beta or did I find a little bug? In "Help" it says that when you select "Link Category" it links with all Affinity software. Quote
walt.farrell Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 The beta and retail apps are completely separate and don't share any data. walt.farrell Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 There is an option to import data from the retail version, though. I haven't tried it in 2.2, but you could press Ctrl while studying the application, and I think there's an option to reset the migration prompt. Edit: No, as decster mentioned below, this option is in the Beta App section of Settings when running one of the Betas. decster1 Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 I was able to go to "Settings" - "Linked Services" and click "Copy Settings and Content from Release Apps" and everything came to me. I did loose some custom start new page settings. Thanks again! walt.farrell 1 Quote
