Thamnos
Hello. I recently switched from Windows to Mac. I have the same, Windows keyboard that I'm using with Mac, and because of the reversed keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl,Alt and Win) I had to switch them around in the system settings for comfortable use. The problem I have is that when I did that - Affinity cannot recognise that I'm pressing certain keys. It's especially annoying using the brush tool. The Alt (color picker) works good, but the Ctrl+Alt+Mouse Drag for scale/hardness does not work at all. When I try to do that, it just recognises Alt and switches to the color picker. What's interesting is that Ctrl + Space works as a magnifying glass, so the Ctrl button works even after the keyboard shortcut change but seems to have a hard time getting recognised when using it together with Alt. I hope this can be fixed because I don't want to switch my system keyboard shortcuts every time I work in Affinity Photo
Komatös
Hi @Thamnos and welcome to the forum. This makes me wonder if the converted keyboard works as expected in other programs? MikeTO
I can't help with this issue but I recommend adapting to the Mac way of doing this to avoid issues with other apps in the future. I think you'll be surprised at how quickly you adapt to pressing Cmd instead of Ctrl. I've done the switch before and it doesn't take long, even with years of muscle memory. I also adapted to Apple's preferred scroll direction for mouse scroll wheels. I hated it for 3 days and now don't think of it.
