Churchy
I have added a stroke to text boxes, and used the color panel to print them black. They do not print. I would like to see the strokes on the screen, as well. How can this be done? Also I tried to make them .25 pt but they automatically round up to .3. The same is true for type sizes. This should be fixed. Yes, it makes a difference.

If the stroke is really on the frames, you will see it. I think you probably added it to the text, not to the frame. Can you share a sample document (.afpub, .afdesign, or .afphoto) for us to examine? 3 minutes ago, Churchy said: Also I tried to make them .25 pt but they automatically round up to .3. You probably have your application Settings (or Preferences, depending on your application release) set to show only 1 decimal place for pt measurements. It's in the User Interface portion of the Settings/Preferences. This affects only the displayed numbers. The actual sizes will be correct. Churchy
You are right, it is stroking the text rather than the frame. I selected the frame — or thought I did. Thanks for the info on preferences; I'll give it a shot and hopefully miss my foot. stroke?.afpub walt.farrell and Old Bruce 1
walt.farrell
Thanks for the sample. To stroke a text frame, you need to use the Text Frame panel in Publisher. That should be available via Window > Text > Text Frame if you're using Publisher 2. Churchy
Thanks, I'll try it. I like Affinity, but it seems less instinctive and more indirect than InDesign (which I have used for years). I guess they have to be careful about copyright infringement. walt.farrell
