Screenshot & paste in Affinity Photo --> Problem gelöst / Problem solved ! ! !

Recommended Posts

Hallo liebes Forum.

Reinhard

Hello dear forum.

When I take a screenshot and then insert it into a new file using Ctrl+Shift+Alt+N and take more screenshots and then insert them into my file as well (as layers), they are then always inserted offset.

Is there any way to have them inserted at the SAME position as the 1st (original) image?

Example: I want to display different routes (parts of a journey) from GOOGLE maps and save them as single layers in APh (i.e. 1 document with several layers) - but the image section should NOT change.

I've tried all sorts of things, but haven't found anything yet, other than painstakingly moving the individual layers by hand.

Thanks in advance
Reinhard

No, it is a pain

However, if you select all the layers and type 0 into the X & Y boxes it will be fixed

There are at least two issues with pasting screenshots in Affinity that unfortunately have not been resolved yet. One has been logged as a bug, the other has not as far as I know.

I believe this is the issue you may be reporting... it has not been logged as a bug in this post...

Another issue is that screenshots put 3 pixels from the right edge of the screen on the left edge. I don't know if everyone experiences this or if it's isolated to specific operating systems or what...

If I create a new file from the new (2nd, 3rd, ...) screenshot (with Ctrl+Shift+Alt+N) and then copy THAT to the clipboard and paste it into my desired document, it appears in the CORRECT place ! ? ! ?

Alsop I guess it's a bug.

@David in Яuislip If I select multiple layers, I can not move them unfortunately (see attachment).
