awakenedbyowls Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 So I'm trying to create this effect but applying a Perspective Mesh to some text and then CTRL+J ing a 3D effect How do I get a good symmetry clicking and dragging the top middle and bottom middle of the box so everything that is vertically parallel remains parallel and I create a bulge in the middle that is dead centre and vertically symmetric ? I tried holding shift or ctrl etc but they didn't do anything when dragging Maybe there are some settings I can tweak on the Fisheye Warp ? otherwise the default transformation was useless in this instance Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 You might try drawing out a Guide that you can follow when dragging the node. I found that useful when playing around with something similar. Horzontal guides to mark where you want to drag up and down to, might also be useful.
