augustya Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 I want to be able to view the Photos that I click in Full Screen in Landscape Mode on the iPad Pro. The 11" iPad Pro has a Display of 2388X1668 and the 12.9" has a display of 2732X2048. My question is, If I take Photos in any other ratio, can I resize the Photos in Affinity Photo to fit a Full Screen view on the iPad Pro ? for both these sizes ? If Yes, how can it be done ? When I say Full Screen, I literally mean Full screen with no gaps left when viewing in Landscape Mode in breadth and height aswell. What can I do ? TIA Quote

No, unless you crop away some of the information so you get to that ratio. If the aspect ratio is not correct for the screen then there is no way to display them in full-screen, with no gaps left around the edges. That's just simple arithmetic or maybe physics. It's nothing to do with the iPad nor with the Affinity apps. Your requirements are simply impossible. You can have gaps around the edges, or you can lose part of the image. It's as Walt already said! With Affinity Photo you would do here then pretty much the same, as this iSize iPad app would offer to do, namely ... "... decide what to do if the image aspect ratio changes: crop as you like, deform, or add borders of any color. And if the image is too small for the required size: enlarge it, or add borders. ..." ... as APh supports to do all that too here!
