How any of you guys use the Apple Magic Trackpad 2 while working on Affinity Photo? And If you do? Can you tell me if it is easy to work with Affinity Photo for the pointers, selections and detailed precision related things while using the Apple Magic Trackpad-2? Thinking to buy one, and using it, while working on Affinity Photo is going to be one of my major workflow. Hence interested unknowing the Feedback on it. Thanks

Why is this Happening?

Sorry for the typos. Corrected the entire thing. -
Can someone please tell me why is this happening? So on this photo I have created a duplicate layer then I added a brightness layer and improved the brightness and then I added a frequency separation to it and when the Low Frequency and High Frequency layer were created I added an empty layer on top of both both the layer, so that I can reduce the opacity of the layers, and now when I try to use a healing tool to work on LF and HF why is this happening? I cannot work freely and only some lines appear ? Screen Recording 2025-05-14 at 3.20.33 PM.mov

the last approach that you have just mentioned, to implement that the background image which is the main image, i aready have dded some leers with changes and are placed on top of it no to clone from that main image i need to select the main image but. if i select that image how am I going to be able to clone from it. i hope you understand

is there a way? Can I copy some selection from the main image and paste it on a different pixel layer in the same project? So what I want to do is basically I have an image in a project. I want to copy the under eye area of the main image paste it on another layer and then adjust its opacity. How can I do this?

Facing an issue somedays back you suggested this method of if someone wants to reduce the opacity of the changes made in Low Frequency and High Frequency Layer by adding a mask above both the layers and then reducing the opacity of those makes layers. But when I am trying to do that it is not happening. can you please have a look and tell me what is going wrong here? why is not happening this time ? It happens on the actual Low Frequency and High Frequency Layer. But not on the mask layer which I place on top of it. Screen Recording 2025-02-22 at 3.36.23 PM.mov

I have this photo (Attached) If you have a closer look the inside corner of the yes on both sides near the nose has a lot of darkness what is the best way to give it a light colour so that it matches with the surrounding skin and does not look like black corners? Till now I have tried to paint it with surrounding colours with zero hardness and 10% Flow and 100% Opacity and then reducing the Opacity of the layer, but the results are not good. what can I do ?

Hi Guys, I have a quick question when you do Frequency Seperation for Portrait Touch ups and let's say you have worked on the High frequency Layer and Low Frequency Layer to also address the Under Eye Dark Circles and Bags or even Facial Scars of the subject, and to keep it realistic if you wanna reduce the opacity of the eye touch up area layer only there is no way that I can only do it for the eye area meaning if I reduce the opacity of both the layers it affects the entire image. So how to restrict it only to the eye area. I mean I can think of using a low flow, low hardness and low opacity but wouldn't it be nicer if I can also reduce the opacity of that layer itself. But how do it only for the eye area ?

I am just trying to understand this process step by step so you first added a fill layer, set the blend mode to colour and changed the HSL values to match the colour and then mask it out right ? How can you add a rectangle and then make to a fill layer ? Why didn't you directly used a fill layer available in the layer panel ? And then when you aded the mask to it ? Did you invert the mask only to the layers you wanna play the mask ? is that how you did it ?
