evtonic3
How do I paste only visible cells from Excel into Publisher? There are hidden columns in the excel doc but I don't want to paste that info. Publisher will make a column for those hidden columns in the excel doc.
thomaso
It doesn't happen to me in APub 1 in macOS 10.14.6.: I get copied / pasted the visible cell selection only, same if I paste in a text editor. What are your versions? Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

thomaso
My Excel is from from 2010 (v. 14.7.7), maybe that matters? What do you get if you paste from Excel into TextEdit? With or without hidden cells? Also, at least for certain Excel versions, there appears to be an extra option for copying cells without invisible cells, for instance: https://www.howtogeek.com/749235/how-to-copy-and-paste-only-visible-cells-in-microsoft-excel/ Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
