Tonal Master666 Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 the studio panels & studio preset manager & add a preset to the studio manager it's just not working. i guess it is something within your shortcuts options? within the studio preset manager-when you press the apply button the 2-panels keep showing up as-in left & right studio panels. if you make a preset with just 1-panel or no panels the 2-panel keep showing up. under preference in publisher #1 when you went to shortcuts everything was under view . now in publisher #2 it is under windows option. listen i am not an expert by any means but what the hell is going on here? i am tired in writing all of this! is any one else have this same problem with the studio panels? walt.farrell Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 It might help to have some screenshots to help illustrate your problem. However, I think you might be expecting that the Studio Presets will control the Left and Right Studio visibility. From what I've seen, the Studio Presets don't control that. They control which panels are present in the Left Studio, and which are present in the Right Studio, and where (in each Studio) they are located. But as far as I can see, the visibility of the Left Studio and of the Right Studio is controlled only by the options in the Window > Studio menu. This is how V1 worked, too. Yes, now this is all under Window in V2, not under View as it was in V1. That is intentional, and documented. Tonal Master666 Posted June 9, 2023 Author Posted June 9, 2023 hello Walt. i made this screen capture of me using affinity publisher #1. Walt. i also use shortcut key's to do the same thing. see #2-screen capture below 1st capture Screen Recording 2023-06-09 at 7.00.07 PM.mov this 2ND-screen capture . now my point is all of that stuff under preferences/view not all of that stuff is there any more (this is what i need to know) also in 1st screen capture that apply button keeps popping up both docks. i guess i must still work with my version #1 of publisher -despite the fact that i also own affinity publisher 2 Screen Recording 2023-06-09 at 7.14.27 PM.mov but i suggest that everybody checks what i am describing here to tell me that this is all in my head??? thanks... kind regards. It is also where you will now find shortcut options for other Window related shortcuts like for Show Left, Show Right, Hide, Reset, etc. Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.5.7 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7

Apply will always be available when you have that Manage Presets dialog open, and you have selected a Preset. It's not a problem. But to simply apply a Studio Preset, you don't need that dialog at all. They're directly available at the top of the Window > Studio dialog, just above Add Preset.
