Sj_offl Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Affinity Suite 2.0 shows a laggy animation while switching windows in the stage manager. It happens on both Affinity Designer & Affinity Publisher. Quote
Staff NathanC Posted June 8, 2023 Staff Posted June 8, 2023 Hi @Sj_offl welcome to the forums, The Affinity apps don't officially support stage manager currently, which can result in certain issues when using the feature, I've linked the FAQ thread below for more information on this. 🙂 Quote

It would be nice for us customers to have an indication of whether it will be a long time before there will be a well-functioning external monitor support, or whether it is planned in one of the upcoming 2.x releases. It is so cautiously formulated in the post you link to that I hardly dare to believe that it will come within 1-2 years, and you risk that customers can't wait with the great uncertainty and base their product choices on other products. Hope Serif has good news, even though I know you don't give dates or the like. Quote

DooshPastesh Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 After the update to 2.2 and MacOS 14 Sonoma, Stage Manager does not lag anymore. I've just tested it for few minutes, not in real job, for now. JFYI. Edit: I've opened one of my bigger files on base M1 Air and barely see one frame drop, but still, it looks way better than before.
