CP16 Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 I design for custom fabric printing, but really need the Pantone FHI Cotton TCX palette. I figured out how to install it on the desktop (Mac) version, but don’t know how to get it for the iPad. Does it need to be a built-in palette, and if so, can I make a request that it be added? Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 If you've installed it as an application palette on your Mac, just export it as a .afpalette file from Swatches on the Mac and you can import it to Swatches on your iPad. It's a Pantone palette (.csv) that I installed via the package, into the directory with all the other Pantone palettes. I'm not able to export -- that option is grayed out. walt.farrell 1 Quote
Staff Lee D Posted June 7, 2023 Staff Posted June 7, 2023 @CP16 It may be worth trying to see if you can get the palette in .ASE format as these can be imported into our apps. As the workflow you used to add it on desktop isn't an option on iPad due to sandboxing. Quote

That's what I'm wondering -- can this be a palette they include with the app. A lot of people are using Designer for custom fabrics. It would be very helpful. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted June 7, 2023 Staff Posted June 7, 2023 We use the Pantone library for graphics and print. It would need to be part of this for us to include it by default. More libraries or the option to add more may be something in a future update/version. Quote
