Figmatt
Designer 2.1.0 macOS 12.6.6 View mode: Pixel Antialiasing: Force Off Performance: Metal, OpenGL, OpenGL (Basic), Software Tables added to the document using Publisher 2.1.0 (the fact there is no way to add a table in Designer, even though they are obviously supported, is for a different discussion)
Hangman
Hi @matt, Could you upload a sample document demonstrating the corner 'bulges' so we can see how the table has been formatted to determine what might be causing the issue you are seeing... Figmatt
Sure! I've included it as an attachment. Make sure to set View > View Mode > Pixels ...because this option is still not saved with the document. Bonus layer of a dotted line table which behaves in an almost psychedelic way when you zoom in. Hangman
Hi @matt, The reason you are seeing the 'bulges' in pixel mode is simply because your table isn't 'pixel aligned', i.e., the cell width and height are 47.6 px x 31.8 px respectively and the line weight is 1.3 px. If you change the cell width and height to something like 47 px x 32 px and the line weight to 1 px, maintaining an X, Y pixel aligned position for the table then the 'bulges' are no longer visible in pixel view mode... I've attached a tweaked version here... Figmatt
Oh, good catch! I will check my main artwork for that sort of thing.
Figmatt
Is there any way of forcing all measurements to snap to whole pixels?

You can potentially use the snapping option ‘snap to grid’ along with a pixel grid or it’s a case of entering and positioning objects using integer values if that makes sense… BTW, the table option in Publisher isn’t designed to work with dashed lines which makes sense as it would be almost impossible to do so. Figmatt
But it's possible to set dashed lines on a table, so it should work well IMHO. Anyway, I used it as a guide and placed some horizontal and vertical dotted lines to get what I wanted.

This was raised when balanced stokes were launched in v2.1 and this was the reply from @Ash... Figmatt
I'm so disappointed with v2 it is literally the worst upgrade I have used in recent memory. So much stuff still half-baked since the early v1 days. Sigh.
