I'm struggling creating a custom brush. I'm missing something but I can't work out what. See the attached image. I've created a shape (circled in red) which might be described as a 'square comma'. I want to use this as the basis for creating a line with 'hanging tails'. I can import it as a .PNG and create a brush but I only get the tails. The image shows the brush settings and an output line. I can clearly see the 'square comma' in the brush settings but this does not seem to be reflected in the line. (Scratches head). I've persisted with this for a couple of hours with no joy. Any suggestions.

Hello @MarkWBD

export your created graphic as a PNG file with a transparent background. Create a new identity brush and in the Properties panel set the desired parameters.

Cheers
