I’ve tried to recreate the situation but I cannot replicate the problem – images dragged from the Stock Panel are placed in the grouped Picture Frames correctly.

Would you be able to share the document – or a cut-down version of it, maybe just that page, if you don't want to share it all – so we can see if we can figure out what’s happening?

So I figured out it somehow is connected to pictures that have been moved in the frame, since the document template has been opened. If i don't adjust the position of the image it is fine (most of the time), IF I move it and then drag a new one into it always happens. It also happens with other images, it isn't tied to the stock images, I just used them in this case. I provided the file from a cut down version, would be interesting if you manage to recreate it in your own file as well as my file.

Thanks for attaching the document.

Good catch figuring out how to replicate it.

I can now replicate the problem, in your document and my own, and I don’t think the software should be doing what it’s doing (or I can’t think of a reason why it should).

I’m not entirely sure what it should be doing – where (positionally) should the newly dragged image be placed in the Picture Frame, for instance? – but I don’t think what it’s doing at the moment is right or expected.

My own document was very much simplified – create document; add Picture Frame; drag image from Stock; reposition image; drag image from Stock –  and I got the same thing.

Ok, good to see it's not me using it incorrectly. My personal expectation for that function would be, that the newly placed image has it's center aligned with the old one, regardless of size and resolution. That would make sense for me.

This however is, like you already said, unexpected.

Would be interesting to hear from someone of the support team if this is normal or a bug, or if we are using it incorrectly.
