Chamfered corners in Designer

What setting do I need to change to get square corners as opposed to these chamfered corners? The stroke is 8pt. When I export as Jpeg some of the corners go square (like top left of serif on the 'L')

A solution will be easier to find if we can examine the actual document, rather than just an image, so we can see how the design is constructed.

(You can make a copy of the document containing just that lettering if that helps to keep any private stuff private.)

If you have a stroke around the letters, you could set the Join to Mitre rather then Bevel via the stroke panel on the curve, you can control whether it will create a sharp/flat corner based on the mitre value.

Though as Garry mentioned, it would also be helpful to see your original document or a sample from it.
