mocny Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Bug in every app: Scrolling with mousewheel inside navigator does not respect position of the mouse inside navigator panel view, but it is using position of the mouse of the whole affinity publisher application. It should work either like manual zoom input > zooming in/out centered on actual view or zooming based on mouse location inside navigator panel. Quote
MikeTO Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 You're right, it does seem a bit wonky. I'm not sure that it's using the mouse position relative to the document or the panel. It seems to zoom based on the position of the bottom left corner of the View rectangle. I think it would feel more nature if it zoomed based on the centre of the View rectangle. Staff NathanC Posted April 25, 2023 Staff Posted April 25, 2023 Hi @mocny, This would be considered more as a feature request rather than a bug with existing functionality as the zoom currently works off of the position of the view rectangle rather than the position of the mouse within the document view as Mike mentioned. mocny Posted November 6, 2024 Author Posted November 6, 2024 Well, it definitely feels as a bug, altough designed to function as is, it is unnatural, so that is why I considered it a bug and still do. In case of bigger documents it is very cumbersome and unnatural to use navigator, that is why I ditched it completely. If you are able to move this into feature request, feel free to do that. Quote
