Trying to upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade from V1 to V2 of Designer. According to Affinity there is a 25% discount for V1 users to upgrade. I downloaded the trial version of V2 but when I try to buy it with the discount all I get is the error message shown in the attachment. 

Are they saying that you have to pay full price for V2 and then you get a 25% refund? What am I missing? Why can't they just give you a code for the discount?

Welcome to the forums.

As long as you have registered at least one of the V1 programs with us, you are eligible for the 25% discount on the cost of the Universal license.

If you are seeing this message while you are signed into an account where you have bought or registered at least one of the V1 apps, please email affinity@serif.com so we can look into this for you.
