Richard79
Just finished my 30 day trial for designer now I want to buy a licence but I'am doubting. If I buy a licence only for designer can I than in the future buy the universal licence with discount of the all ready purchased licence for designer. I could not find the answer to this question in the FAQ. Thanks Richard
Komatös
Hi @Richard79 Short answer: No. There are two different license models. Single licenses are tied to the operating system platform for which the license was purchased. The Universal license does not have this restriction. Richard79
Thanks, all though in my view this is bit weird, and unfortunate.
Komatös
@Richard79 But this is the way it is. Life is not a concert of wishes. You don't get a discount from Adobe if you remember that you need InDesign in addition to your Photoshop subscription. The universal license may seem expensive at first glance, but it buys you the freedom to use Affinity Suite on all supported operating systems. emmrecs01 1 Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (22631.3296) AMD A10-9600P | dGPU R7 M340 (2 GB) | 8 GB DDR4 2133 MHz | Windows 10 Home 22H2 (1945.3803) Affinity Suite V 2.4 & Beta 2.(latest) Better translations with: https://www.deepl.com/translator Interested in a robust (selfhosted) PDF Solution?
