New Left swipe options on iPad layer panel

No - it's still in there. Is it the compound options you are specifically talking about or the left swipe option in general?

Worth noting that the compound options are available when you swipe on one of the child objects of a compound (which have the little compound type indicator next to them) - as in the example below.

Dear Ash
Thank you for your prompt response, I tell you that today I updated the beta version 2.1.0 (1799), I did the test with two geometric figures and for some unknown reason, the objects merge and do not maintain their individuality. And when doing swipe it only shows basic actions.
I have been updating the beta version every time since I installed it, and the same thing happens in the desktop version.
I am waiting for instructions, since I am developing some illustration commissions in this beta version.

Add image from my iPad Pro with iPadOS 16.4.1 (a)

To create a non-destructive version of that you need to long press on the "Add" command instead of a quick tap. Hopefully this video demonstrates it.

Thank Ash

I see it, and in the Mac desktop press command and option and click in the icon add. Good!!

As a user experience designer, I think it's a bit intuitive to know that you have to hold down to achieve this other functionality, maybe you could incorporate the main call to action of joining all at once, in the swipe menu, and give it a chance. the user to make a definitive merge whenever he wishes.
I attach an idea of usability in the experience. Maybe it can be a contribution.
I must comment that I am very happy to be part of a beta tester and that Affinitiy Designer has been a revelation in my work as an illustrator. Thank you very much for everything you do so that we can create with Affinity.
