Applying an HSL adjustment in HSV mode to an RGB/32 bit image has no effect. Same with beta 2.1.0.1742.

Hi winfried_z,

I'm not having issues here with this, could you show a full screen video perhaps of the workflow used?

Lee

Hi Lee,

Thanks for taking care.

I apologize, I am not so familiar with taking screen videos, but I think I can show what I mean by some screenshots.

As a demonstration, I have chosen a picture with a blue sky, and I want to darken the sky while increasing its saturation via HSV.

RGB/32, HSL/HSV adjustment:

While with RGB/16, the effect is clearly visible, there is no effect with RGB/32.

Hi winfried_z,

as the gamut is massively different between these two images the adjustments will need to be altered and will not directly translate.

Hi Lee,

I am afraid I was not sufficiently clear in describing my problem. The point is that an HSL/HSV adjustment for a certain colour does nothing when applied to a 32-bit image.

I provide you with two .afphoto files, one in RGB/16, the other in RGB/32 format, both containing the same pixel layer and and the same HSL shift adjustment layer. You can see that with the RGB/32 file, the HSL adjustment has no effect.

Hi Winfried,

The same adjustment might not work, however a little tweak shows that the HSV is working correctly.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for your patience, but unfortunately, for me this does not work, see below.
