I'm using Windows 10 professional on my desktop computer. I've no problems with Affinity Photo 2 up until now. The program won't start, it is not listed in my control panel to uninstall it. I still have Photo version 1.10 and I almost uninstalled it, but cancelled the operation. I tried to start Photo V1, but it won't start either. In control panel I have Affinity Photo v 1.10.6.1665 and I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 installed (a really old version).

I've tried to start Affinity Photo 2 by double clicking the icon, right clicking and selecting open. I've tried to start it from the start menu. I tried to download the latest verstion and run the installation file, and it tells me that it tis alread installed, so why does it not show in Control Panel?

How do I get the program to start, or uninstall when it is not in the control panel. Do you have instructions from removing it from the registry so that I can install the latest version?

Thanks for any help, Affinity Photo 2 is my "go to" photo program, so I'm very confused why it would be suddenly not working.

Hi @Jack Qand Welcome to the Forums,

First, can you try starting Affinity while holding down the control key and you'll get prompt to clear some settings.  3 options will be ticked and you can just click on the Clear button.  Does Affinity then start?

Holding Ctrl while clicking the Photo icon does not give me any options. The loading wheels spins for a few seconds then stops.

WerFault.exe starts right after Photo.exe starts, then they both stop at the same time.
