Laurents Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 I'm not a fan of the asset manager. Whenever I start up a new file It defaults to a purchased pack that's first because its in alphabetical order. Why cant the asset manager stay on the default or the last category I had used? What's super frustrating is there is a shop icon next to everything I purchased through the affinity store. its goofy and hard to read. and with all my custom categories I've created I really don't want to see that icon offsetting everything I've purchased next to everything I've created.. . When will we be able to organizse the main categories? or select a setting in the hamburger menu to disable those annoying shop icons? Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Suggestion as a workaround for now: Create your own default category with a name that sorts first. For example, _default or _assets. Thanks for the suggestion I just uninstalled all asset content, and wont be installing any in the future. If i do i'll just rip em out and create my own assets. The Shop Icons just drive me nuts. Now its perfect. Quote

walt.farrell Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 By the way, you can download the Store Assets from your account at https://affinity.store/account/downloads and install them manually. That might remove the icon you object to.
