Im tring to get artificial turf as a style for a flooring render.

I have an image of the turf as a style but it keeps zooming in when I try to paste it to a layer any idea how to stop this ?

Can you share this image with us or at least tell us where you got it from?

I'm not sure what you mean by "have an image as a style". Can you explain that a bit more? 

 Next, I don't understand "pasting [a style] to a layer", so it would help to explain that, too. 

Perhaps you could also have your system record the screen while you do this, so we can see it happening?

Hi Guys,

Im trying to add artifical grass as a flooring to a render.

I have saved the image to a style as per screen shot, but i want to know how to stop it zooming in when I increase the size

The 2nd image shows how small square of turf i.e. what I want it to look like ...not the zoomed in look after applying it

I think you've used a Bitmap Fill as a Style. As far as I know, that will always zoom to fill the object you apply it to.

You might try the following:

  1. Apply your Style.
  2. Select the Fill Tool.
  3. Adjust the handles to make the fill smaller, while holding the Shift key.
  4. Play with the Extend settings in the Context Toolbar
