jackamus
I checked the online AD manual for making your own short cuts but was unable to find anything. I know that it is possible as I created one in the distant past for breaking a curve node but and have since forgotten how I did it. Help anyone? firstdefence
Not necessarily, modifier keys like CMD, Shift, ALT can be used if other menu items already use that key, it normally flags up if there is a clash with a warning yellow exclamation triangle, mousing over that triangle will give you a hint to the clash. "K" is currently being used by the Knife tool in Affinity Designer v2 Also, using a modifier key can prevent accidental selection of shortcut. jackamus
OK Thanks for the heads-up. When I open Prefernces>shortcuts I get a window full of existing shortcuts. I find this a bit confusing - its my age LOL! How do I get nice empty fields to in my shortcut name etc? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! jackamus
Got it! Thanks. firstdefence
Been there, done that, the magic runs out very quickly lol! Can't wait for Affinity Ai, where you just sit back and watch the Mac create a work of art by picking up on your brainwaves, unfortunately for most men that will result in scenes from PornHub Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.4.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... jackamus
IMHO the technology is verging on scary! Its great to be able to do this kind of thing as an artistic pursuit but unfortunately this will used to create a false impression of reality to that point where, used in the wrong hands, we can be duped into believing anything 'THEY' choose. Videos of UFOs and aliens would be a good example. Hollywood has been doing this for years. However if a government gets into it then... Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!
